Although Fully Self-Supporting, Bladder MUST Be Fully Secured To Prevent Movement. ATL's Tie-Down Kit Accessory Is Highly Recommended. A Cargo Net Can Also Be Utilized. For MAXIMUM Stability, ATL Recommends Transporting Bladder FULL Of Fuel. Partially Filled Bladders Offer Less Stability.

Bladder Design Parameters
Custom Design Guidelines ATL Custom FueLocker Height Requirements
Each corner of the bladder must be no less than 10" in radius. The overall width of the bladder must be no less than 21".
The overall height of the bladder must be no less than 14" with a MAX height of 26".

Please keep in mind that in order to maintain their "Self-Supporting" qualities, all custom ATL FueLockers™ must be designed with a minimum width to height ratio of 2.5 to 1. For example, if you would like to build a custom FueLocker™ with a 20" height, the bladders width MUST be at least 50".

*NOTE: ATL can produce custom fuel bladders that defy this ratio but they must be placed within a supporting structure which would provide support to the bottom and all 4 sides of the bladder. Please contact ATL for more information.
Helpful Hint - To calculate the appoximate fuel capacity of your custom fuel bladders, use one of the following equations:

To Calculate U.S. Gallons: (Length (inches) x Width (inches) x Height (inches) ÷ 231
To Calculate Liters: (Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) ÷ 1000

ATL's "Aqua-fer" water bladders are similar in shape and construction to the ATL "FueLocker" and can safely store potable (drinking) water. Alternative custom configurations are also available upon request. In addition to custom potable water tanks, ATL can also custom build marine holding bladder tanks for grey and black water that feature undetectable odor. Please call for details.
