Aero Tec Laboratories' Fire-Bags, collapsible bladders for fire-suppression foam concentrates, are built with a proprietary elastomeric material. All seams/joints are created using a heat and pressure cure technology without adhesives. The material used in ATL's Fire-Bags has received UL (Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.) approval for use with Kidde foams, a major manufacturer of fire fighting foam concentrates. This UL approval is required for materials used to build these bladders. The elastomeric material is more flexible than PVC and will remain pliable as there are no plasticizers used, which often leach out over time. ATL's materials and process allow for a more economical bladder than a neoprene on nylon coated fabric construction.
